With our season winding down here in Va. Thinking , overall our spring season , due to weather will have been a wash! Expecting the kill will be down from seasons past, also.. With the continued rain, sloppy weather, wondering what our breeding season will be! We need some dry , sunny weather! What's going on in your state?

It's rained all spring here. Very few good turkey hunting days. Tomorrow is the last day and it looks like rain all morning. I'm glad I got my birds early. It's rained just about every Saturday here so the kill will be down. There's been very few guys reporting good gobbling and even fewer birds killed. The Facebook has been void of turkey photos this year. The first half of the laying season doesn't look to be any better. I'm not expecting a good hatch and I'd say a high mortality rate for hens on the nest if the weather keeps up.
