GoPro

Does anyone use one while hunting? I just picked one up at the NWTF and was going to use it as another angle. Was thinking about using it out close to the decoys. I may use it in the blind with me showing me while calling and shooting. I will experiment to see. What sucks is that I wouldnt mind having 1 or 2 more.

The thing that I think ranks up there in "cool factor" is that I can control the camera with my iPhone. I can place it out next/close to my decoy and turn it on as soon as I think a turkey is coming. No need in setting it out there filming and hoping a turkey comes to the calling, running the battery down and using up all the space on the sd card. I can turn it on and off and start the filming when I am ready.

I have one and use it for 2nd angles as well. It's great for close up bit it doesn't replace a camcorder. I have the GoPro app on my phone but don't have the wifi bacpac yet :fingerhead: I need to get one soon.

I would suggest getting it from the short time I've had mine. Being able to control it from a distance without spooking game is awesome. I think it will be cool while bow hunting and having it at an angle to capture the kill shot on the same plane as the deer.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get it soon. It seems that other things keep popping up and it keeps putting a delay on it. :banghead:

I think out by the decoys would be awesome. I never realized it could be controlled by our iPhones. I might have to look into that.

You can actually use your phone as a viewfinder to make sure of what the cameras looking at. You see what the cameras looking at in real time. Pretty cool.

Mine has about a 5 sec delay on what happens in front of the camera and when I see it. I have bought a couple mounts for it already. I bought the tripod mount an the The Frame mount to use. Now I need a new computer to computer to edit the videos. Mine has been acting stupid when I try and edit any video. That's why I haven't posted any new videos. I have footage of several things ready to go, just have to find a computer to do the editing. I'll get to it soon enough.
