Do any of you guys wear base layers for turkey hunting? If so, what kind?

Hahahahaha that literally made me laugh out loud haha. I wear First Lite base layers made out of Merino wool. Its light and it's great fire wicking moisture.

I wear under armor heat gear under one layer of mossy oak obsession. Its the same thing as the bug undergarments and keep the ticks off of me. Sometimes when I'm going on my turkey hunting marathons it gets hot but it keeps the ticks off

Whatever works man haha. The First Lite stuff is great for me because it's not to warm and it's great at wicking sweat when I'm running through the woods haha.

I've got my Under Armour that I also wear while playing hockey, as well as a couple sets of polypro tops and bottoms. Warm days get the UA, and chilly days get the polypro.

If it is cold this season I will be wearing at least my UA top cold gear I think with a merino wool blend shirt and sitka transverse pants. I don't handle being cold well.
