Anyone use one?
Got one a few years ago, figured it would be a good thing to have...if you are not sure where ya going/been. Several times I'd be headed out to a gobbling turkey, moving from tree to tree in the early morning hours only to find that I was not totally sure how to get back to the truck. Also roosted a few birds, marked my way points from the truck to the turkey then was good to go at dawn..... a GPS for dummies of sorts .... it works for me.

I had a Lowrance I-Finder but after 5 years it crapped out on me with all the points. Now I just wonder around until I find the truck,

I've thought about getting one for when we head to S Dakota. We are hunting a new spot (11,000 acres) and I have a concern about getting lost in unfamiliar territory. All those hill are confusing for us flat landers! It's kind of like carrying a pistol -- beter to have one and not need it than need it and not have it! I think that it would be cheap "insurance".

Tell ya what...been using de heck out of my Backtrac this spring...... Hit the car button at the truck to find home, head to the roost tree and mark that spot as home. That thing gets me back to the truck in the dark and then..... straight back to the roost area the next day.
Good stuff and what I like about it,ya don't have to be an ele engineer to use that thing  ,which in my case,is good :D
