What's on top of your turkey slayer?

I like a nice, compact red dot with good clear glass. Makes for fast target accquisition and I never lose focus on my surroundings as I can shoot with both eyes open, possibly catching a glimpse of that boss gobbler as he tries to sneak in on the deks from the side or behind me. Accurate and if I want to compensate for poor vision, I'll wear glasses.

Hey, no shame. Besides, that E686 just wouldn't look right with anything on her would she? ;)

:) I use 2 magnetic Tru-glos on the vent rib.Front site is GREEN and is point of aim on turkey.I then get my head down on the stock and BLOT-OUT the green with the rear RED Tru-glo.Quick,simple,target acquisition in low/brite light situations,no batteries to worry about, cheaper and just as fast as a RED DOT scope 8-) .Kill most of my birds at 20 yds. or less though ...

My 870 mag has a while bead on the end and a brass bead mid way the vent rib......works for me. I have used the Hi-Viz tru-glo sights, they work great too!

Lol. Then you've never seen the patterns from my 835! When your pattern is the size of a dinner plate at 20 yards, an aiming device and a good crisp trigger are key to the difference between a "jelly head" and a clean miss.

The old white bead on the SX3 works for me.

My nova has a standard bead on it with a smaller bead halfway down. I am thinking of putting a red dot on it this year.

The new 870 came with some magnetic sights but I think I want to put some fixed rifle style sights on it. Like the TruGlo Magnum Gobble Dot. We will see how they do. I've heard good things about them.
