cut_un from what I have seen you are exactly right. put them up any time any where and climb in. turkeys will almost step on them. but with deer you better put out early and cover with brush. I we have taken several turkeys from ameristep outhouse blinds. now I have their doghouse blind. some of my turkey buddies have the brickhouse and several other types of blinds. they all work great. Just throw it up and climb in. leave it up and come back next week. from what i have seen it dont matter to turkeys.

As mentioned, turkeys dont care....deer do. Brush it in for deer and you can get real close to them, dont brush it in and hope it is rifle season and they are in range.
