difference??

Why is the difference in what is called a "box call",like most folks make,carry and what is called a "long box"... I know length but what would make me want to run out and buy a call close to a foot long

Volume for windy days. Also they can be hard at longer distances. they just have a different sound also. great for striking birds.

Never run one, may have to get my hands one one and give er a go Many are,a work of art

They use them allot out west where the country is open and you need to be heard at long distances.

They work great sitting them on the ground and using just one hand. The one I have can do everything from cuts to kee kee's.
