I have the alert hen decoy. It is well made and very realistic looking, but tends to be on the heavy side

I looked at them closer today. The display model was losing air but the detail looked pretty good. The hens are way to green IMO.

Looks right to me. Looks better too, when it is in day light and not a fluorescent light.

That could have been it. Maybe I should have taken it outside. And then made a run for it!!! :mrgreen: :lol:

I looked at the decoys last weekend at Cabela's. They seem better quality and not as "green" as they did last year. Maybe zink changed paint. But one thing is that they are sure heavy! I was there with a buddy and his kid and I accidently dropped it and it almost hit the kid. It would have knocked him out. But still for the price... I would pay extra for a dave smith. But my $10 bobble head buckwing decoys will still work and are about a 1/4 of the weight.

You'll never notice the weight of the decoy over the weight of a dead tom. 8-)
