Also, when shooting do you run a brush through barrel after every shot? I saw on another forum a guy did a tutorial on polishing your barrel. I ordered the supplies he recommended and plan on polishing both my 12 gauge 835 and the rem youth 870 20 gauge.
Yup I have done it.. I would NOT do it until you are totally frustrated and have exhausted other resources trying to attain what you desire..
Yes I use bore cleaner, brush, patches and than a patch saturated in alcohol or brake cleaner to get any remaining oils from the bore solvent out as it can hinder patterns as well.. When testing it is only fair to have each shell or choke on an even playing field and a clean bore does that.
