(First post....thanks for having me)
This will be my first season turkey hunting and I'm hoping someone can help with an ammo question. Specifically, what type of turkey loads should and should not be used. I know lead and the tungsten alloy loads are good to go through most any gun, but what about steel? I'm asking because I was told by a choke tube rep to not use Hevi -13. Is this a steel load or alloy? Just wanted some opinions on this before I spend money on something that might damage my gun or choke.
For the record, I have several shotguns but will probably most often hunt with a Mossy 835 with a Kicks Gobblin' Thunder choke tube.
Thanks for your help!
